The Cotswold Ensemble's String Duo and String Quartet are pleased to provide live classical music and classic pop music arrangements for tea parties and other special events at Care Homes, Residential Homes, Retirement Villages etc.

We are professionally-trained and qualified classical musicians based in the Cotswolds & Oxford & surrounding counties, and we are happy to travel further afield.

Many frail and infirm elderly people really miss being able to go to concerts. For people with memory loss, hearing a golden-oldie tune can re-awaken memories and words, and hearing live music can soothe. Visitors and carers benefit too!

We can play to a seated audience (introducing the music if desired), or simply provide background music at a party (summer garden party or indoors year round).

We have a medley of Christmas Carols and arrangements of Christmas Songs to play at Christmas parties - and if folk start singing along, so much the better! We are long-established (1988) - we have experience and empathy.

And of course, we are fully Covid-vaccinated (and we are also teaching in schools so are taking LFTs regularly)
